Our first Christmas

This year was mine and Kamron's first Christmas together. It was the best Christmas ever. On Christmas Eve we went over to Kamron's parent's house for dinner and read Christmas stories together. After that we went over to my parents and walked Christmas street and then open presents. Our parents live a mile away from each other so it makes it easy to go to both families. Usually on Christmas Eve we always get pajamas from my parents but this year we got slippers. Kamron has wanted Boston Celtic slippers for a while so I was excited to suprise him with them.

Anysways.. The next morning at 3:00 I helped Santa unload all of Kamron's present. Then we woke up at 7:00 in the morning we woke up to open our presents. It was the best to wake up with Kamron and start our own traditions. I got Kamron two Wii games, clothes, workout stuff, and lots of random things in his stocking. He got me a craft table for my sewing machine, 4 pairs of shoes, gift cards :) he was too scared to buy me clothes.

After we had our morning together we went to my parents house and opened more gift there and had breakfast. They gave me aprons to sew, cute rooster stuff for my kitchen, flannel sheets. Kamron got a darling Celtics blanket my mom made. He also got more clothes and tools. It was fun to be at my parents house and do things I did while I grew up. When we were done at my parents house we went to Kamron's parent's house. We watched some of Batman and opened gifts there. They gave us a ton of food storage. Usually I would never be excited for a ton of random food. But now being married I want to be prepared for our family. Then we went to my grandma & grandpa's house. We spent a couple hours there then went to Kamron's grandma's. We had dinner then and opened gifts it was a lot of fun to spend time with them. It started snowing like crazy we had to go home in order to make it up the big hill by our house.

So it was a wonderful crazy busy day. But I wouldn't have changed it for anything.

It's finally over!!!

I just took my last final this morning. I can't explain how happy I am about this. Now I can finally get some shopping done.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Within all the madness of final I have found some time to do some Christmas decorating and shopping. Even though I have only gotten 1/8 of my shopping done. It still feels good to have started. I also have decorated our house (a little). Cute Christmas decorations can be expensive, and they add up quick. So we decided to just keep adding up each year. So this year we bought our first tree. It is so cute and little, and the best part is that it is so easy to put up!

It is so exciting to be celebrating our first Christmas together. I'm excited to start our own family traditions. I love Kamron so much and can't imagine a better way to spend Christmas. I am excited for Santa to come to our house. We have a chimney so I want to set out cookies and everything. It will be a nice snack when I set out all Kamron's gifts. I love our stockings they have S and K on them. They are so cute! We still have left over gift cards from our wedding so I used some of to buy them. Last night Kamron brought home the biggest pointsetta. It is so beautiful. I saw them at Costco and wanted one so bad. I set it on our fireplace cause that is the only place that it will fit.
Also last night we had friends come over and make gingerbread houses. It was so much fun. Shalise and Jake came over earlier that night and had dinner with me and Kamron. Then my brother came over with a blind date, and Ginger and Adam. It was such a fun way to celebrate with some friends and it was fun to see everyones ideas.

We had tons of candy to decorate the houses with. It so fun to see all the different ideas everyone had. Mine and Kamron's is the closest one to the front.
