Summer Update

So much has happened since my last post. I have not had one second to update our blog. Now that things have calmed I have second to write some do some updating. Within the last three weeks Kamron did another triathlon, my sister went through the temple and got married, I went to girls camp, and Kamron had a birthday.

-TRIATHLON-

Kamron, Jacob (my little brother), Gavin (my brother in law) did another triathlon on June 20. They ran the Olympic relay team race up at the Cache Valley triathlon. They did awesome, out of all the relay teams the took first!! I was so proud of them, they worked so hard and trained really hard too.
This is the only picture we have together that day because he gets so sweaty I can not get close to him. I swear only boys can sweat that bad.

My incredibly buff husband. So the 23 is his age and OR mean Olympic relay. It helps the people in charge make sure no one cheats.

So instead of getting a medal for placing in the race, they gave cow bells and engraved it said what they won. It was so funny since Cache Valley is known for their farms.

-GIRLS CAMP-

Where do I even begin to talk about Rough Out Camp. It was an absolute blast. Since I am the Laurel advisor it was fun to see the girls in a different setting. Everyone kind of let loose and had so much fun! We went up to the Uintah's and of course it rained. We did have some good weather but one night it rained so bad that a tent collapsed at 4:00 am. It was a long night the girls stuff was soaking so we put them all in a car to sleep the rest of the night. Kamron came up on Friday morning and stayed til we went home the next day. He was the priesthood leader for that time. It was so fun to have him come up. I missed him so much, it was so nice because the other leaders told me to stay the night in his tent that night as the best sleep I got the whole time. I was warm and cuddled by my loving husband.

Kathleen and I were the camp advisors. Neither one of us knew much about camping because either our husbands or dads did most of the scary work like lighting camping lanterns. We were so proud when we lit the lantern for the first time. We took a picture of it to prove to our husbands that we could do it.

-KAMRON'S BIRTHDAY-

Kamron turned 24 for this year. Since his birthday was on a Monday we really didn't get to do anything super exciting. Since his birthday was the day before Tawnya's wedding we had a wedding dinner to go to that night. I gave him some gifts in the morning before I left for work, (he took the day off). After the wedding dinner we went and got Cheesecake and opened more gifts.

I decided Kamron is so spoiled, he practically had a second Christmas.

My brother spent a couple days with us because there was too many guests staying at my parent's house. They gave his bed to someone else to sleep on. It was fun having stay with us.

-WEDDING-

My sister's wedding day was beautiful. The weather was great, considering we have had a lot of rain lately. Her and Gavin were so happy. The day just was perfect.

As you can see we have been so busy this summer. We are having a blast though. Kamron is also going to summer school, playing on a softball team and basketball team. He is the greatest husband in the world. We hope everyone is also having a great summer!
