A wonderful Christmas season

It has been forever since I have posted anything on our blog. The holiday season just took over our life and I never had a second to sit down and blog. Now that we are back in school I thought if I didn't blog today it will never happen. It is embarrassing how far behind I am on blogging. I will try to be better at staying current with blogging. First I'll start with Thanksgiving. This year Kamron and I had Thanksgiving at our house. His parents, grandma, and uncle came over. My family was in Las Vegas for my little brothers water polo team. It was so fun to have Kamron's family over for Thanksgiving. I made the turkey and everyone brought the rest. I was really scared cooking the turkey because if that went wrong then Thanksgiving would be ruined. The turkey turned out great!

The day after Thanksgiving Kamron had to work, so I went shopping with my friend Alex. It was the kick off to Christmas shopping. The sucky thing about it wa the w were still in school until December 15 so it was hard to be studying for finals and getting ready for Christmas. But we did it even though it was so hard. Christmas this year was a little different. Kamron's brother has joined the army and so he was home from basic training during Christmas. We tried to spend as much time with him as we could, after he is done with basic training he is going to be stationed in Germany. Christmas Eve we spent with Kamron's family. We celebrated Christmas with them on Christmas Eve because Kamron's other brother Jordan had to work on Christmas day. (He is an EMT)

Underneath all of that paper is Buddy (the dog). He goes crazy when it comes to presents. He thinks that there is a present inside for him so he tries to rip all the paper to find the present inside. It makes me laugh so hard. Kamron's parents gave us some really great gifts. We got a card table, Kamron got a watch, I got a purse, camping chairs, and life jackets because they bought wave runners! We can not wait for the summer it is going to be alot of fun. We went home later that night and opened one gift we bought for each other. I opened a darling shirt Kamron got me and he opened a Jazz hat that he really wanted. It was so funny because we could not sleep that night. We woke up at 6 a.m. you would think that we were like 5 years old. We spoild each other so bad this year. Kamron had bought some new golf clubs back in October so I got him the bag that matches the clubs, he got clothes, 2 hats,.... wow I can't rememeber what else. Kamron got me clothes, lots of sewing stuff, movies, makeup, a snuggie (which I LOVE), the perfect brownie pan, an ice scraper, a new lamp for our bedroom it is so dang cute. We had a perfect Christmas morning, after we opened our gifts I went back to bed and Kamron played his new soccer Wii game. At 10:00 we went down to my parents house and had breakfast with them and opened more gifts. Santa brougth a Xbox 360 to my parents house along with Rockband so we played that all day. My parents got us more camping chairs, I got more sewing stuff, Kamron got movies and boy stuff that I can't remember. Later that day we went my grandparents and then went to Kamron's grandma's. We got home at about 9 p.m. and we were pooped.

We had a great Christmas. I was horrible at taking pictures this year. We also did a lot of fun things leading up to Christmas. Family Christmas parties, went to the Nutcracker, friend parites, lots of shopping, hanging lights, decorating the house and tress, sending out Christmas cards, lots of good food, I just can't believe that it is all over.

This is our house all lite of with lights. I know that it is a terrible picuture and you really can't see anything. But it looked so great in person.

Heather threw a fabulous friend party at her house. It was so fun to get together and catch up with friends. Cruz and Heather also made some wonderful chili for dinner.

And of course we made a great gingerbread house this year. We had some friends come over for dinner and to make houses. It is one of our Christmas traditions.
