My vow to better at posting

I feel so guilty when I go to write a new post. I really wanted to be better at posting this year but I really find something else to be do when time I could post. Our Stake President gave our stake a challenge to keep a personal record and write in it regularly. I feel that blogging is a great way to keep a personal record. He said that if we were to do this it would bless our lives and marriage. I want nothing more than for my marriage to the best it can be. So I will blog a lot better and make sure I write in my personal journal more often.
Since my last post not much has happened. Of course we are busy with school work and working daily jobs. I don't have as many credits as Kamron this semester which is opposite of last semester. I still am enjoying my time as the Laurel's advisor. I just love my young women and am impressed by the strong testimonies they have. We just had New Beginnings a couple weeks ago, and went over the new Personal Progress program. I decided to do the new program. I have already received my medallion when I was a Laurel but I really want to do this new program. The new program is absolutely inspired, it is amazing.
Kamron and I got to go see some Olympic qualifying events earlier this year. We went up to Deer Valley with my sister and Gavin, and our friends Alex and Jeremy and saw the men and women's ariel competition. It was so fun, just something different to do on for a week. Then next weekend we went to Park City Mountain Resort and saw the half pipe competition. We got there like 2 hours early to get a good spot (we learned from the weekend before) It was totally worth going so early because we had the best spot ever. We got to see Sean White which was amazing to see him ride in person. My little brother Jacob came with us which was fun, he loves Kamron and it's nice to spend time with him.
I went and saw Dear John with my sister and cousin Kristin. So I read the book before I saw it and LOVED LOVED the book, I was so excited to see the movie because the book was amazing. Ok the movie was horrible. I hated it. I know that seems harsh, but seriously the book is so much better and the movie is just weird. Everyone in the theater was crying and I was just sitting there thinking this is terrible. It was kind of funny, my sister Shyanne also read the book and we both were just like boo this is horrible. So if you loved the movie you will LOVE the book.
Valentine's Day this year was so much fun. I told Kamron I would plan it since he is just so busy with school. So I planned a whole day for Kamron and all his favorite things. Saturday morning we woke up and I made him cinnamon rolls and told him to get ready we had to be somewhere at 10:45. I had planned for us to get a couples massage and he had no idea until we were walking in the doors of the place. It was the best thing that I have ever done. It was so needed with all the stress we have in our lives. After our massages Kamron went to help his parents do some remodeling at their house. I was having some stomach issues so I took a nap when he got home I cooked his favorite dinner and we ate by candle light. It was so romantic. lol. He got me the cutest dress ever from Down East (my favorite store) and a cute shirt from there as well. I got him a journal so he can keep his personal record, a movie, and a book. We then watched the Olympics, his new movie (Forever Strong) and that was it. To me it was so perfect. Quality time. So that is pretty much what has been happening with us. I did turn in my teaching application on Tuesday, which for me was a lot of work. Pray that I get accepted into the program.
Oh, just a little shout out to President Obama for adding the education credit to the federal taxes this year. He saved our butt in not having to owe Federal taxes. I knew it would be good for something. :)
