2nd Anniversary

This past weekend Kamron and I ran away to sunny Las Vegas. The main reason we got away was so celebrate our 2nd anniversary. It was a way needed vacation. Also it is so hard to believe that we have been married for 2 years. The best two years of my life!! I love Kamron with all my heart. He is everything I could ask for. Well he planned this wonderful trip to Vegas for us and it was so so fun. We spent Friday night with Kamron's uncle and aunt in Mesquite. It was so fun to spend time with them. Saturday we took off to Vegas, the first stop we made was to the Ethel's M chocolate factory. As a kid my family would always go there and so I thought it would be fun to go there with Kam. Ya.. no... there was no one working in the factory and that is the best part of the whole thing. Kamron was like seriously.... hahaha what a great way to start the trip.
We had a wonderful time walking down the strip. Kamron loves to look at all the casinos and hotels and think of how they were made. (He is a construction management major) I like watching all the freaks walking around. I won't get on my soap box about it, but what about Vegas makes people loose it? haha I don't know but it was entertaining. For our anniversary dinner we went to a wonderful restaurant in the new city center.

It was a such a great anniversary. We both have grown in our marriage so much. Kamron loves New York City so of course we had to take his picture in front of New York New York.

It was so warm while we were there. We spent alot of our time laying out by the pool and swimming. Kamron it like a fish, he loves to swim and be in the water.

This dessert we got one night was so yummy and cute. It was a strawberry and banana kabob and the drizzled with chocolate. Mine was gone in seconds. I love this picture, Kamron just wouldn't stop looking at the buildings. We did not want to come home. Our last stop was at the welcome to Vegas sign.

Before we left I did a little surprise for Kamron. We did not decide to get gifts for each other because we were going on a trip. But I couldn't resist. For the longest time Kamron has wanted a road bike. He found one on line that he really liked. So secretly I bought the bike for him, sent it to my parents and had them bring it up to our house while we were gone. I kept saying I couldn't wait to go home and Kamron was like WHY? we are on vacation. But I just couldn't wait to see his face! Well when we finally got home he went in first and turned to me and said whose bike is that? I was like what bike? He was like seriously whose bike is that? And I was like it is yours. He just freaked. It was so perfect.

Happy 2nd anniversary! Isn't it absolutely crazy how fast time flies! I'm pretty sure it goes even faster once your married and then even faster when you have kids! Sounds like you had a lot of fun on your trip! Those little get aways are the BEST!
